Jacksonville Barracudas News Release

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Barracudas Head Coach Ron Duguay today announced the signing of veteran winger Brent Scott.

Scott, a 5'10", 200-lb. Calgary, Alberta native is a six-year pro who played with El Paso of the WPHL in 2000-01. That season he was tied for first on the team with assists (31), tied for first on the team with points (56), was third on the team in goals (25), and led the team in penalties (134).

"Brent's the type of player we're missing on this club," Duguay said. "He plays with a lot of emotion. He's an agitator who will draw a lot of penalties while scoring lots of goals. He'll be good for the young players."

For the past two seasons, Scott has led San Angelo of the CHL as Head Coach. In 105 games as coach, Scott had a 37 - 57 - 11 record.
