
Bandits To Play At Prudential Center In East Division Final

BUFFALO, NY (May 4, 2009) --- The Buffalo Bandits have advanced to the NLL East Division Final after an 11-8 victory over the Boston Blazers on Saturday night at HSBC Arena.
Buffalo will face the New York Titans this Saturday, May 9, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Fans can catch all the action on the NLL Network at NLL.com by following the link at www.bandits.com or by following the game on WWKB 1520 AM.
The Bandits were led by John Tavares who scored six points (2+4) and Ken Montour's 47-save performance. Buffalo only allowed two goals in the second half as they pulled away with a four-goal fourth quarter. Mark Steenhuis led all scorers with four goals, including the game winner.
During the game the Bandits held an auction of game-worn third jerseys used during the 2009 season. The auction, which lasted from when the doors opened until the start of the third quarter, raised over $5,000. The Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association also held a 50/50 raffle with a guaranteed pot of $5,000 to the winner. The final total was $6,075.
