Tri-City Diesel News Release

A field goal with 39 seconds left in the game edged Sioux City's Bandits ahead of the Tri-City Diesel 51-48 in NIFL action in Kearney Sunday night. The win adds to Sioux City's undefeated record (5-0) and puts the Diesel at 2-4 for the season.

Justin Coleman tossed six touchdown strikes in the game, accounting for 225 yards through the air. Jermaine Brooks caught three of the touches.

Fortunes swung dramatically in the Bandits' direction when any Diesel chance of scoring in the waning seconds of the game went away because of a fumble on the kickoff return after the field goal.

The Diesel hosts the second game of this three-game homestand this Friday as Rapid City comes to the Diesel Dome. The May 3 game is a 7:35 start.
