
Bandits Sign Weiss to 1-Year Deal

The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed transition player Nick Weiss to a one-year contract, pending league approval.
Weiss (6'2", 212 lbs., 8/16/1992) returns for his seventh season in Buffalo after recording eight points (4+4) and 30 loose-ball recoveries in eight games for the Bandits in 2019-20. Weiss joined the Bandits prior to the 2014-15 season and has played 78 career games for Buffalo, notching 75 points (34+41) and 96 created turnovers. He's also added nine points (3+6) in nine career NLL playoff contests, all for the Bandits.
A native of Port Hope, Ontario, Weiss was drafted by Vancouver in the second round (17th overall) of the 2013 NLL Entry Draft and made his NLL debut for the Stealth in 2013-14. A seven-year NLL veteran, Weiss has totaled 98 points (41+47), 548 loose-ball recoveries and 96 created turnovers in 95 career NLL games for the Bandits and Stealth.
