Bandits Sign Vinc to Three-Year Deal

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed goaltender Matt Vinc to a three-year contract, pending league approval.

A 13-year veteran, Vinc (6'1", 212 lbs., 6/9/1982) is a three-time NLL champion and the defending NLL Goaltender of the Year. He also owns the league's all-time postseason records for minutes and saves and is the active leader in regular-season minutes and saves.

In addition to being among the most experienced goaltenders in NLL history, the St. Catharines, Ontario native is also one of the most decorated. He is a six-time NLL Goaltender of the Year (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018) and a seven-time All-Pro, including six first-team selections.

In his 13 seasons with the Rochester Knighthawks, New York/Orlando Titans and San Jose Stealth, Vinc has compiled a 98-81 regular-season record with a .782 career save percentage and a 10.87 goals-against average. In the postseason, he has registered a 19-10 record, a .779 save percentage and a 10.65 goals-against average.

A product of Canisius College, where he played defense, Vinc was selected by the San Jose Stealth in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2005 NLL Entry Draft.
