
Bandits Ink Four Players

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed transition player Thomas Hoggarth to a two-year deal. The Bandits also announced that forward Zach Herreweyers, defenseman Jon Harnett and goaltender Zach Higgins have been signed to one-year contracts. All four signings are pending league approval.
Herreweyers (6'0", 175 lbs., 7/19/1994) rejoins the Bandits after playing in one game and scoring one goal for the club last year. Prior to coming to Buffalo, the Strathroy, Ontario, native played in five games, recording 10 points (3+7), during the 2017 season with Colorado after they selected him in the first round (9th overall) in the 2016 NLL Entry Draft.
Hoggarth (6'3", 205 lbs., 10/20/1994) recorded four points (1+3) in 11 games with the Bandits in 2018 after being acquired from Vancouver mid-season. The Lakefield, Ontario, native was selected by the Georgia Swarm in the second round (20th overall) of the 2015 NLL Entry Draft prior to joining the Stealth for the 2016 season. In 24 games with Vancouver, Hoggarth recorded 12 points (8+4) and collected 44 loose balls.
Harnett (6'1", 185 lbs., 5/28/1998) joins the Bandits for his 12th NLL season. He has recorded 73 points (10+63) and recovered 539 loose balls over the span of his career after being drafted by Boston in the third round (26th overall) of the 2008 NLL Entry Draft. The Orangeville, Ontario, native spent the last two seasons with Vancouver, playing in five games and notching one assist.
Higgins (6'1", 225 lbs., 12/30/1990) remains with Buffalo after spending the 2017-18 season playing for the Bandits, posting a 2-4 record, 13.02 goals-against average and .758 save percentage. He holds an 11-23 career record with an 8.37 goals-against average and .549 save percentage in his career. He spent time with the Georgia Swarm and the Calgary Roughnecks before joining the Bandits prior to the 2017-18 season.
