
Bandits Activate Diruscio, Hire Wagar as Coach

BUFFALO, NY (April 28, 2015) --- Buffalo Bandits General Manager Steve Dietrich today announced the team has activated goaltender Davide Diruscio from injured reserve.
In a corresponding move, goaltender Kurtis Wagar has been placed on the retired list and the team has hired him to serve as the goaltending coach for the remainder of the season. Both moves are pending league approval.
Wagar joined the team as a free agent prior to the 2013 season. The St. Catharines, Ontario native posted a 3-8 record with an 11.80 goals-against average in 79 career NLL games.
Diruscio returns to Buffalo's lineup after missing the Bandits' last four games due to injury. The rookie is 1-0 this season with a .754 save percentage and an 11.92 goals-against average.
