Bandits Acquire Sean Greenhalgh From Philadelphia

BUFFALO, N.Y. (July 24, 2007) --- Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Dave Zygaj announced today the team has acquired forward Sean Greenhalgh (green-hall) from the Philadelphia Wings in exchange for Jason Crosbie, Taylor Wray and future considerations. Buffalo initially traded goaltender Steve Dietrich and Kyle Couling to Calgary for Wray, Calgary's first-round selection in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft (10th overall) and Calgary's second-round selection in the 2008 Entry Draft.
Greenhalgh, 25, led Philadelphia in scoring with 68 points (26+42) in 16 games last season, his second in the NLL. He also led the Wings with 12 power play goals, and recorded a nine-point game (2+7) against New York on April 7. The 5-foot-10, 185 lb.-native of St. Catharines, Ont., has 141 points (57+84) in 32 career NLL games.
Greenhalgh was originally selected third overall by Philadelphia in the 2005 Entry Draft, following four-years at Cornell where he was named Ivy League Player of the Year in 2005. Greenhalgh finished his collegiate career with 169 points (136+33) in 56 games.
