
Baltimore Burn To Hold Tryouts for 2005 Season

Glen Burnie, MD ? The Baltimore Burn of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA), announced today that they will conduct the first of many player tryouts for their 2005 season. Tryouts will be held at the Druid Hill Park football field on Saturday, July 24th beginning with the 11:00 AM check-in and starting tryouts at noon. Participants will go through a series of drills, including a timed 40-yard dash, shuttle drill and other football-related activities. All women trying out must be at least 18 years old, provide a copy of a photo ID and a copy of their health insurance card. The non-refundable tryout cost is $35. Any person wishing to volunteer his or her services for the 2005 NWFA season are also encouraged to attend.
