FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The SwampDogs will have an international flare with Lock Haven RHP/1B Matt Lahn coming to The Swamp this summer.
The Georgetown, Ontario, Canada native will be in Fayetteville providing a consistent left handed bat that can hit for average in the lineup and also a reliable right handed arm to come out of the bullpen.
A transfer from Eerie College, Matt is off to a solid start at the plate and on the mound in his second season at Lock Haven. Lahn has started in all seven of the Bald Eagle's games, hitting .423 with one home run and five driven in. He leads the team with 12 runs scored and 11 hits.
On the mound, Lahn has surrendered just one earned run over two appearances, giving him the lowest ERA on the staff.
Lock Haven University is off to a 4-3 start under second year head coach Jim Chester. Lock Haven University is located in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
