Bakersfield - The Bakersfield Blitz will be hosting a tailgating barbecue on Saturday, September 23. Dinner is from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the Bakersfield College Mt. Vernon parking lot.

All season ticket holders, Blitz sponsors, and local media are invited to join Blitz players, dancers, and office staff for choice food and beverage, courtesy of the Blitz. Live entertainment will be provided by the Arvizu Brothers. All in attendance to the barbecue will also receive a free ticket to the Bakersfield College football game for that evening. The B.C. Renegades will take on L.A. Valley at 7:00 p.m.

For season ticket holders who have yet to renew their 2007 tickets, they can do so at the barbecue for a 10% discount.
