Bakersfield Blitz News Release
Thursday, July 6: Blitz players, dancers, and team mascot, Crusher, will be making their way to Evergreen Elementary School at 12:30 p.m. Blitz team members will be spending the afternoon on the playground and in the classrooms with summer school students talking about what it takes to be in sports.
Saturday, July 8: The Blitz Girlz will be having a car wash at Copeland Sports, 4821 Ming Ave, from 9 a.m. "" 1 p.m. PLAY 103.9 FM will be providing music and entertainment. Show support for your local football team and get your ride washed by some of the best looking ladies in Bakersfield.

Monday, July 10: Blitz players, dancers, and team mascot, Crusher, will be making their way to Roosevelt Elementary School at 10:30 a.m. Blitz team members will be joining summer school students on the playground and in the classrooms.
Wednesday, July 12: Blitz players and mascot, Crusher, will be visiting the Little Red School House at 9:30 a.m. Blitz team members be arriving for snack time to play with pre-schoolers and kindergarteners.
Saturday, July 15: Blitz will be playing at home when they take the field against the Central Valley Coyotes in the "Battle of Highway 99 Part III." Kick off is set for 7:00 p.m. at Rabobank Arena.
Don't forget to get your tickets for the July home games. The playoff hunt is on and with only three home games left, the Blitz are hungry for a championship!
