Lancaster JetHawks News Release
(Lancaster, CA) - Things were cruising along for the JetHawks as they sought their third win in a row. At least until the sixth inning. Kellen Raab, working on a shut out to that point, allowed three runs in the sixth and five more in the seventh as the Bakersfield took the first meeting between the two teams 8-3.
The JetHawks had opened the scoring in the fourth inning. Brandon Burgess opened with a single, then stole second base. He moved to third on a Josh Ford single and scored when Javier Brito grounded out.
Lancaster added to their lead in the fifth. Chris Rahl doubled and scored on a Mark Reynolds RBI hit to put the JetHawks up 2-0. Rahl ended up with three hits in the game.
