Baby K Modeling Agency joins VRCA Records and ABA Entertainment
October 31, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. Baby K Modeling Agency, owned and operated by Kay Manning, will be doing the selection of models to showcase a brand new line of ABA Entertainment apparel, an apparel line designed exclusively for older women. According to Ms. Manning, "Older women are often neglected in the sports and entertainment industry and sports and entertainment fashions designed for us are difficult to find. Our company will feature a line of unique apparel specifically designed for us." In addition to the older women fashion line, Baby K will also introduce a junior line as well as a plus size line in both men's and women's for ABA Entertainment.
"We are currently in discussions with several major fashion designers to bring these exciting new lines to the ABA Entertainment Division. And we're even considering shoes," added Manning. "The new clothing lines should be ready starting in January 2008 and will be introduced at ABA basketball games as well as ABA Red, White and Blue Concerts."
Ms. Manning has been working closely with Paul Allsup, ABA Entertainment VP, in putting together the new line of apparel. "What makes these new lines so unique is that the ABA is for the whole family and Kay has addressed the needs of an often neglected segment of the market," stated Allsup. "These brand new lines will be priced reasonably and we think it will be a hit with our fans. We are awaiting the first designs so that we can begin test marketing soon."
Baby K Modeling Agency will be a part of VRCA Records and will provide models for all ABA Entertainment events. For more information, call 812 208 2674, email vrcabusiness@yahoo.com or www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
