Baah Replaces Sanich

INDIANAPOLIS-Blast player Peter Baah has replaced Mike Sanich as the Head Coach of the Indiana Blast for the remainder of the 2003 season.

Baah, a native of Blackburn, England, has spent the last six seasons as a player with the Blast. He came to America to play with the Columbus/Ohio Xoggz of the USISL in 1995-96 where he accumulated 11 goals and five assists. Prior to coming to America, Peter played two seasons with Fulham of England's second division and spent the 1991-92 season with Premier League's Blackburn Rovers.

Baah will make his coaching debut tonight, LIVE on Fox Sports World at 7:00pm.

FOX SPORTS WORLD-Tonight, August 8th at 7:00pm is your last chance of the season to be on international television. For the last time in 2003, Fox Sports World will be coming to town to broadcast LIVE from Kuntz Stadium as your Indiana Blast play host to divisional rivals the Minnesota Thunder.

The Blast are undefeated in their Fox Sports World matches over the last two years with a draw against the Rochester Rhinos in 2002 and a win over the Cincinnati Riverhawks in June of 2003.

It's Union Planters Thunderstix night. The first 500 fans will receive a pair of Thunderstix at the front gate.

It's also 2003 Indiana Blast Soccer Camps Reunion night sponsored in part by Soccer Unlimited and Kappa USA. All participants in the 2003 camps will receive FREE admission to the game by wearing their Indiana Blast Camp T-shirt.

Gates will open at 6:00pm. A full crowd is expected so plan to arrive early.
