Axemen Sign Former Gopher

October 16, 2013 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Minnesota Axemen News Release

Bemidji, MN - Axemen head coach Robert Fuller may have been introduced to the public just over 24 hours ago, but he's already laying the groundwork for a competitive Indoor Football League organization.

Fuller and the Axemen have agreed to terms with former University of Minnesota athlete and Jackson State University alum Tim Dandridge.

Dandridge, the Detroit, MI native, attended the University of Minnesota his freshmen and sophomore seasons before transferring to Jackson State University. While at Jackson State, Dandridge earned 2011 First Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference honors. Dandridge's most productive season came his junior year as he finished the season with 110 tackles, three interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and two defensive touchdowns.

After his senior season in 2012, Dandridge started his professional indoor football career with the Sioux Falls Storm (IFL) and the Omaha Beef (CPIFL).

"We are very excited to have Tim join the Axemen family," Fuller stated. "With his previous indoor experience with Sioux Falls and Omaha, he will be a great asset to our secondary."
