Bemidji, MN - The Bemidji Axemen have announced that they will not be renewing the contract of head coach Robert Fuller for the 2015 season.
"On behalf of the Axemen organization, I'd like to thank Robert for his dedication to the Axemen and the Bemidji community," said Axemen owner Ross Ladehoff. "He was an instrumental part in helping the organization through our inaugural season and we wish him the best in his future endeavors."
The Axemen went 5-9 in their inaugural season under Fuller, including a five-game losing streak to end the season.
"Our General Manager Adam Barnhardt and I will launch a nationwide search to hire a new head coach," Ladehoff said. "Our intentions are to make an announcement in one to two weeks."
