
Axemen Add to Rushing Attack

Bemidji, MN - The Bemidji Axemen have boosted their rushing attack by signing running back Mulku Kalokoh (Moo-koo Kuh-low-koh) to their 2015 roster.
Kalokoh (5'10", 193 lbs.) last played football at Southern Illinois University. As a senior, Kalokoh posted 131 rushing yards on 31 carries while adding 34 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown for the Salukis. He was highly utilized in the special teams game at SIU, recording 487 kick return yards and blocking two kicks. He earned MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors as a senior.
Prior to Southern Illinois, Kalokoh played two seasons at Coffeyville Community College, where he was an All-KJCCC honorable mention in 2010. In his time at Coffeyville, Kalokoh rushed for 1,197 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 89 receptions for 798 yards and four receiving touchdowns. He also returned kicks and punts for the team.
"With Mulku, we have a great talent that can help our team in a lot of ways," head coach Dixie Wooten stated. "We can utilize him in our rushing, receiving, and return game. He's a versatile player that gives our team a lot of options."
