Aviators Looking to Add to Employee and Host Family Roster for Final Season of Loeb Stadium

March 5, 2019 - Prospect League (Prospect) - Lafayette Aviators News Release

LAFAYETTE, IN - The Lafayette Aviators are looking to add to their Host Family and Employee rosters as they gear up for their final season at Loeb Stadium.

The Aviators are currently hiring for game day positions in Ticketing, Food & Beverage, and Entertainment. As the community knows, Aviators games are about more than just baseball; they're an entertainment destination. A game day staff that is dedicated to providing top-notch service is an important part of the fan experience. Those looking to be part of the action can view openings and apply at https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Lafayette-Aviators-Baseball/jobs.

Another vital piece of the success of the Lafayette Aviators is their roster of Host Families. These families fly under the radar as they work behind the scenes to provide a welcoming home for a player for the summer. Above simply providing a place to sleep, these families help the players adjust to a new city while they're here in Lafayette.

"Oftentimes, these young men serve as role models for children that are in the household and end up forming a close bond with the family. It is common for the players and families to stay in touch far beyond the summer. And who knows, you could be hosting the next Major League star!" said Aviators General Manager, Zach Chartrand.

Above the intangible assets, all host families receive season tickets, merchandise discounts, a team gift, and an invitation to a thank you picnic and on-field recognition night.

For more information on hosting a player, please contact our Host Family Coordinator, Laura Fritz. Laura can be reached at lauraf@lafayettebaseball.com or 219-204-0947.
