Lafayette Aviators News Release
LAFAYETTE, IN - The Lafayette Aviators have announced the creation of a program so Aviator fans and the community at large may help bridge the game for restaurant owners and employees during the mandated COVID-19 closure.
Effective immediately, the Aviators are inviting all local residents to consider purchasing a $25 gift card (or greater amount) from their favorite local area restaurant, and as a bonus receive two (2) free tickets to an upcoming 2020 Aviators ballgame of their choice. Gift cards may be purchased online at their favorite restaurant's website or via "drive-thru" or "take out" should the establishment still be operating.
"Greater Lafayette area restaurants have been devastated by the mandated COVID-19 closure," said Aviators General Manager Ray Carolin. "We're hoping our participation will incentivize folks to act now to help our many local establishments and their employees in a time of need."
Once a gift card is purchased, the buyer simply needs to send a copy of their gift card purchase receipt directly to the Aviators. They may email a photo of their purchase to tracyf@lafayettebaseball.com or mail a copy of their receipt to the Aviators at P.O. Box 6494, Lafayette, IN 47904.
"Once we receive the gift card receipt, we will email the purchaser two (2) electronic tickets which they can download and use for admission to any Aviator 2020 home game of their choice," said Carolin.

The Aviators 2020 season is slated to begin at Purdue's Alexander Field on Thursday, June 4.
