Aviators Announce Free Meet the Team Event, May 29

e Lafayette Aviators are happy to announce a free Meet the Team event set for May 29th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Loeb Stadium, presented by the Lafayette Journal & Courier. Fans will get an early opportunity to meet the new 2019 Aviators before they hit the road and start their season on May 30.
"It's a really special chance for our fans to get to meet and interact with the team prior to the season," said Aviators general manager Zach Chartrand. "e players and our staff wouldn't be here without the support of the community, so getting to hold a unique event like this to kick-off the final year at Loeb Stadium is really awesome for everyone."
Fans can watch open practice before getting an opportunity to go onto the field for player autographs and pictures. In addition, fans will be able to play catch on the field with players and kids can run the bases.
Season tickets and ticket packages can be picked up during the Meet the Team event and if you take a picture with Ace, you'll receive half priced tickets for Opening Night on June 6th at 7:05 p.m.
roughout the event, concessions, merchandise and ticket information will be available and the Aviators staff will also be testing out some new, fun promotions for people to be a part of on the field.
"We are looking forward to hosting a fun event for all ages," Chartrand continued. "Our players are really excited to meet the fans and head on the road knowing they have a lot of support from our Lafayette community."
