Los Angeles Avengers News Release
LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.
"A-Team" dancers Jenna and Tiffany spent Tuesday, Dec. 19, helping out the California Highway Patrol Toy Giveaway at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Los Angeles. The "A-Team" dancers rode along with the California Highway Patrol and a motorcycle-riding Santa to deliver toys to the children at the hospital. The dancers also took the opportunity to assist Santa Claus and the CHP with the gift giving to various patients at the hospital and interacted with the children.
"The kids were so excited to see Santa come visit them on a motorcycle," Jenna said. "The CHP does such a great job of receiving donated toys for the patients at the hospital."
Jenna and Tiffany also posed for pictures with patients and their families.
The Orthopaedic Hospital was established in 1922 and is the largest privately endowed orthopaedic specialty hospital in the Western United States. The hospital enjoys a reputation as a leader in orthopaedic treatment, education and research. Orthopaedic Hospital also directs one of the most prominent biochemical laboratories in the Nation.
