LOS ANGELES - Avenger owner & chief executive officer Casey Wasserman, assistant head coach Brent Winter, "A-Team" dancers Katie and Lindsey, and front office staff members, will spend Wednesday, Nov. 22 serving holiday meals to the men, women and children of Hope Central at the Los Angeles Mission.

The Los Angeles Mission's annual Thanksgiving event is one of the largest of its type in the country. This year, the Mission expects to serve more than 3,500 traditional turkey dinners.

"We are pleased to take part in this annual event at the Los Angeles Mission and always looking to enrich the lives of our fellow community members, during the holiday season and throughout the year," Wasserman said. "The Avengers understand their role in the community and look forward to being apart of great holiday events like this one."

The Los Angeles Mission is a nonprofit organization serving the homeless living on the streets of downtown's Hope Central (formerly known as Skid Row). Faithfully, for 56 years, the mission has saved many lives and has had a profound impact on thousands of others by providing compassionate, humanitarian services to those in desperate need.
