Los Angeles Avengers News Release
LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.
This week, "A-Team" dancers Jessica and Tiffany spent Saturday, November 4 at the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Cheerleading Bonfire in the city of La Puente. The bonfire which took place in San Angelo Park also had dancing, games and entertainment for all ages. The "A-Team" dancers spoke to a crowd of over 500 cheerleaders from 21 parks about the importance of stretching, eating healthy and staying in school.
"It's always rewarding to speak to kids about the importance of nutrition," Tiffany said. "Especially with so many of America's children not eating healthy or taking care of their bodies, it's really important to educate children about how to live healthy lifestyles."
The dancers also took the opportunity to sign autographs and take pictures with participants.
