LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.
This week, assistant head football coach Brent Winter spent Thursday, October 12 talking to the youth football players of the Canyon Country Outlaws at Central Park in Santa Clarita. Winter took the opportunity to pass along his football knowledge to over 200 youth football players between the ages of 9-12.
"I really enjoy helping these kids out with their football skills," Coach Winter said. "I like to see these kids getting excited about football."
Winter joined the youth football coaches in stressing the importance of school and having fun while playing football.
