LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.
This week, fullback/linebacker Lavell Mann spent Saturday, July 22 at the La Curacao La Feria de Los Ninos in downtown Los Angeles in conjunction with KWKW ESPN Deportes. Mann took the opportunity to sign autographs and take pictures with Avenger fans.
"La Feria de Los Ninos is a great family event and I'm pleased to take part in the festival" Mann said. "I always enjoy going out into the community and meeting people."
La Feria de Los Ninos is a free community service event that is organized by La Curacao along with media partners KMEX- 34 and Telefutura -46 to educate children (ages 6 to 11) and their parents of the various constructive alternatives offered in the community to keep kids in school and involved in extra-curricular activities that provide a healthy foundation for them to mature into productive adults.
