LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players and coaches regularly take part in "Double Days" ... the team's community outreach program that makes visits to schools, hospitals and community events.
Assistant head football coach Brent Winter spent Saturday, June 17 at the 7th Annual Inner City Football Clinic in the city of Lynwood. Coach Winter and other local coaches took the opportunity to pass along their football knowledge to over 200 participants.
"I really enjoy interacting with these Pop Warner coaches and talk to these kids about football and sportsmanship," Coach Winter said. "Because without these coaches getting these kids excited about football at an early age I may never see them playing football."
"A-Team' dancers Jenna and Jessica spent Sunday, June 18 at the LA Watts Summer Games signing autographs and taken pictures with participants at the Home Depot Center in Carson.
