AUSTIN, Texas (www.austinaztex.com) - The Austin Aztex added one last piece to their roster on the last day of the transfer window, signing Charleston Battery forward Ian Fuller for the remainder of the season.

Fuller scored the championship-winning goal for the Battery in the 52nd minute, who finished the season as the top team in the league with an 11-4-5 record and went on to take home the Battery's third championship.

Fuller has played for the Battery for the past five seasons and is an assistant coach with the club. Prior to his stop in Charleston, Fuller played with the Vancouver Whitecaps, Rochester Rhinos and New England Revolution.

In his career in Charleston, the Clemson graduate scored 11 goals and assisted on nine others while playing in 97 games, starting in all but 10 of them.

Fuller is the second addition to the club in the last two days, joining Tsuyoshi Yoshitake from Crystal Palace Baltimore. Austin is making a run to earn the top seed in the USSF D-2 Pro League playoffs and win a title in just its second season in professional soccer.

Austin's next match is on Saturday against NSC Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. at House Park. A win by the Aztex would put the club back into first place, where it has sat for much of the season with only six games remaining on the schedule.
