
Austin FC Announces 2023 Preseason Schedule Presented by St. David's Healthcare

Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today the schedule for the Club's 2023 Preseason Presented by St. David's HealthCare, in preparation for the Club's 2023 Major League Soccer season which kicks off at home against St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday, Feb. 25. Players reported to St. David's Performance Center on Friday, Jan. 6 for physical evaluations, and the team's first full day of training will take place on Monday, Jan. 9. More information on media availability during the first week of training will be announced shortly.
Throughout the seven-week preseason, Austin FC will play at least four (4) preseason matches prior to the start of the 2023 MLS regular season. After a week of training at St. David's Performance Center, Austin FC will travel to Florida from Jan. 16-27. The Club will spend six (6) days at IMG Academy in Bradenton culminating with a match against Philadelphia Union on Saturday, Jan. 21, followed by five (5) days in Orlando culminating with a match against FC Cincinnati on Friday, Jan. 27 in Clearwater.
After returning to Austin, the Verde & Black host USL Championship sides El Paso Locomotive FC and Louisville City FC at St. David's Performance Center for friendly matches on Saturday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 11 respectively. All four (4) preseason matches will be closed to the public.
