Austin Bold FC Adds Michael Alcaraz to Coaching Staff

Austin, TX - Austin Bold FC announced Wednesday the addition of Michael Alcaraz to the Austin Bold FC coaching staff as Goalkeeper Coach. Alcaraz will work under Head Coach Marcelo Serrano and Assistant Coach/Director of Goalkeeping Ryan Thompson.
"I'm very fortunate to be joining the Bold Organization. Since day one, I have felt welcomed and at home," said Alcaraz. "My goal is to push the team and organization into the USL Championship playoffs."
Alcaraz began his playing career at Pasadena City College before transferring and completing his final two years of collegiate play at Manhattanville College. While in his sophomore year, Alcaraz played a season with USL League Two side Ventura County Fusion. Alcaraz became Director of Operations at the University of South Florida Men's Soccer after coaching at different youth clubs. While finishing his Master's at Manhattanville College, Alcaraz assumed the role of First Assistant with the men's soccer program.
