Atlanta Vision Releases 06-07 Schedule

SUWANEE, GA - October 6, 2006 - Atlanta Vision, Atlanta's professional basketball team in Gwinnett, is pleased to release their 2006-2007 schedule. The high-flying excitement tips off with a Vision home opener on Saturday, November 18th against the new ABA expansion team, Knoxville Noise. Atlanta Vision will defend their ABA Divisional Championship at the prestigious Suwanee Sports Academy.

Atlanta Vision will battle in the ABA's Blue South Division and play teams in the Southeast region which includes Southern Alabama Bounce, Tennessee Mud Frogs, Jacksonville Jam, Tampa Bay Strong Dogs, Mississippi Miracles, Palm Beach Imperials, and the Miami Tropics. The Vision will enter their third season providing affordable family entertainment, fun contests, community outreach, and innovative solutions for corporate partners.

Atlanta Vision is an official member of the American Basketball Association (ABA). This rebirth of the ABA is entering its sixth season. The league existed from 1967-1976, featuring stars like Julius Erving and Rick Barry. It merged with the National Basketball Association after the 1976 season and re-formed with eight major-market teams in 2000. The ABA is famous for the red, white and blue ball, innovative rules, and fan-friendly, affordable entertainment. Ticket packages are now on sale for the Vision's November through March season.
