GAME NOTES

The main focus will be controlling the possessions in a game where each possession will be key; Cascade Rookie of the Year finalist Alex Woodall will take on faceoff specialist Kenny Massa. Woodall has been phenomenal for the Blaze all season, setting Blaze records for ground balls (140) and faceoff wins (255). However, in the first matchup, Massa left the game early with a concussion, which allowed Atlanta to win the possession battle. With Massa healthy, he beat Woodall head-to-head in 17-31 and 20-33 in the last two matchups respectively.

"In order for us to win, we must take care of each other, understand our scout, and play with great energy, passion, and IQ," Vice President of Player Personnel, Spencer Ford said. "This group is eager to prove itself... it won't be easy for anyone that has to play us."

The Blaze went 1-2 in the regular season against the Bayhawks, cruising to a 19-10 win in the first game before dropping the next two matchups: both by a final score of 13-16. They look to take down the first-seeded Bayhawks before facing the winner of Boston and Denver in the 2019 Championship Finals.
