Atlanta Blaze Announces 2017 Season Schedule

Kennesaw- Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier outdoor professional lacrosse league, announced its full 2017 regular season schedule today. Opening Day on Saturday, April 22 will feature four games, including the Atlanta Blaze versus 2016 MLL Championship contender, the Ohio Machine, at the Blaze's home field of Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
The 2017 All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, July 8 and the final day of the regular season, August 5, will feature three games, including the Atlanta Blaze against the Boston Cannons in Boston. Postseason semi-final matchups with the top four league finishers will take place on Saturday, August 12, with the winning teams meeting in the MLL Championship Game on Saturday, August 19.
Each team will host seven home games and travel for seven road games with two bye weeks during the 15-week season. Each club has one "double header" week, with two games in the same week. The Atlanta Blaze double header will occur over the week of July 2nd, when the Blaze will play at home against the Florida Launch on Saturday July 1st and then again against the MLL defending champions Denver Outlaws away at the Outlaws' traditional July 4th game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
