
MLL Announces 2017 Schedule

BOSTON - Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier outdoor professional lacrosse league, announced its full 2017 regular season schedule today. Opening Day on Saturday, April 22 will feature four games, including the defending champion Denver Outlaws on the road against the Charlotte Hounds.
The 2017 All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, July 8 and the final day of the regular season, August 5, will feature three games. Postseason semi-final matchups with the top four league finishers will take place on Saturday, August 12, with the winning teams meeting in the MLL Championship Game on Saturday, August 19.
Denver will host the Atlanta Blaze in its traditional Fourth of July game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Outlaws and Ohio Machine will meet in a rematch of the 2016 MLL Championship Game on July 15, while the Charlotte Hounds will host Ohio in a rematch of last season's playoff semi-finals game in Week 2.
Each team will host seven home games and travel for seven road games with two bye weeks during the 15-week season. Each club has one "double header" week, with two games in the same week.
