May 9, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Question from Anthony P, Los Angeles: "What do ring tones have to do with basketball?"

Answer. Anthony. Thanks for the question. Had several similar ones last night. Ring tones, wallpapers and other cell phone downloading features are very popular. We thought it would be good to offer a large variety of these features to our fans that visit the ABA web site regularly. In addition to what we have posted, we will have original ABA music, including music from Starz in Motion and Shooting Starz, game highlights, league and team photos, logos and a variety of other interesting things about the ABA and its teams. We are in the process of putting this material together. Meantime, fans can take advantage of the many choices now available on the site, including polyphonic ring tones, graphics, logos, phone games and wall papers. (Note: We did have a glitch yesterday - but the new site should be working well today). http://aba.quios.com. Or click the Ring Tone banner. And you'll see how easy it is to download this good stuff on your cell phone. And that's what it has to do with basketball. If you have a question, email joenewman@abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
