Brooklyn, NY - The Aviators welcomed the Akwesasne Warriors of Ontario Canada to Brooklyn Saturday night for game one of the Federal Hockey League's Championship Series. Despite getting out to an early 3-1 lead in the first period, the A's were unable to hold off the Warriors and were handed the 4-3 loss.
New York went two for seven on the man advantage and netminder Kevin Druce turned away twenty shots in the contest.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow (Sunday) evening for game two of the best-of-five series. The puck drop is scheduled for 5:05PM at Aviator Sports and Events Center. Order tickets in advance online or for more information, call the A's front office at 718 758 7580.
