Armada FC Launches New'Blue and Bold' Campaign

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Armada FC officially revealed its new "Blue and Bold" campaign on Monday ahead of the 2016 North American Soccer League regular season.

The campaign, created by The Dalton Agency, incorporates the pride that goes along with Jacksonville's reputation for being the "Bold New City of the South." It invites people to join the Armada FC's quest to bring an NASL championship to Jacksonville. In addition, the campaign will serve as a rally cry for Armada, soccer and Northeast Florida sports fans to support the city, its spirit and its heritage.

"This new campaign is the beginning of a brand promise to our supporters," said Mark Frisch, Armada FC owner and CEO. "It emphasizes that we will play a bold brand of soccer led by a dedicated, talented team of players and coaches. We have made bold moves and continue to make bold moves to improve the product on the field and the fan experience."

Launched on social media with a video showing prominent shots of Jacksonville overlaid with highlights of exciting moments in the Armada FC's young history, the campaign will begin to fully roll out over the course of this week with billboards, digital ads, print ads, broadcast ads and other creative messaging displayed in the region.

The club will also continue to cultivate a strong soccer culture in Northeast Florida by having a more robust grassroots presence, which includes the launch of a street team along with more frequent social events that offer fans opportunities to share in their love of the sport.

The Armada's regular season kicks off on Sunday, April 10 at defending NASL champions, the New York Cosmos. Jacksonville will open at home against league expansion club Miami FC at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 15 at Community First Park at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
