Jacksonville Armada FC News Release
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 19, 2015) -The Armada FC, Jacksonville's new professional soccer team, has introduced an innovative new virtual seat-viewing online tool which gives fans a three-dimensional look at the soccer setup of Community First Park at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville from a fan's perspective.
The virtual seat system, produced by Ballena Technologies and called "Seats3D," allows fans to view seats as if they are actually in the stadium at Community First Park and make selections before allowing them to purchase the seats online.
The virtual seat viewing system is available for supporters to select seat views at the click of a button for all of the Armada FC's 2015 North American Soccer League matches at Community First Park.
Fans can currently purchase seats on a season, half-season or group seats basis through the online facility. The Armada FC kicks off its inaugural 2015 NASL season at EverBank Field on April 4 against FC Edmonton, followed up with their first regular season match at Community First Park against current NASL Champions San Antonio Scorpions on May 2.
Seats3D's features include full-venue seating options with panoramic views from all seating locations, a Find-Your-Seat feature which allows fans to easily navigate to a specific seat view by entering a section and row number and Facebook and Twitter compatibility to allow fans to share their seat views on the popular social networking sites.
The virtual seats system can be viewed at the Armada FC website or by going to http://www.seats3d.com/nasl/jacksonville_armada_fc http://www.seats3d.com/nasl/jacksonville_armada_fc .
"Sharing the stadium with baseball presents some unique challenges, not least of which is giving prospective patrons the opportunity to see what the view from their seats is like with the stadium configured specifically to soccer," said Armada FC President Steve Livingstone. "That's hard to do when the stadium is being used for baseball, so it was opportune for us to implement the Ballena Seats3D system to allow our fans to view possible seat locations they may wish to purchase online at any time, 24/7 and 365."
"The Seats3D technology and graphics are stunning down to the blades of grass and will give our fans a truly realistic view of how Community First Park looks during Armada matches. We hope it will provide a convenient and useful tool for them when making their seat selections as they 'join the Armada fleet' for our home matches."
Fans can now 'virtually view' seats from multiple locations for Armada FC matches at Community First Park.
