Arkansas RimRockers hold skills and drills camp for children February 19

Little Rock, AR. (Thursday, February 17)-Head Coach Joe Harge announced the Arkansas RimRockers coaching staff and basketball team will hold a skills and drills camp for children of all ages on Saturday, February 19 at Alltel Arena. The first session is for ages 5-10 and will take place from 9:00-noon and the second session is for ages 10-18 and will take place from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Registration for the first group begins at 8:30 at the ticket office at Alltel Arena. The cost of the camp is $10 and includes a RimRocker t-shirt and a free ticket to the RimRockers game against the St. Louis Flight. Campers will receive one-on-one attention from RimRocker players and coaches on the basic fundamentals of basketball.

"We are excited to be able to work with young basketball players," Harge said. "As coaches and players it is nice when we are able to give back to some of the people that have supported us all year. It will be a fun day of basketball ‘fun-damentals', topped off by a RimRockers game at 7 p.m. Saturday evening. We would love to invite kids from 5 to 18 to come and join us."

Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased through the Alltel Arena Box Office by calling 501-975-7575. Group prices apply for groups of ten or more and may be reserved by calling the RimRockers' front office at 501-975-HOOP(4667).
