Arizona To Host Championship Game

The Arizona Sting and Rochester Knighthawks will meet in the 2007 National Lacrosse League Championship presented by Edge Active Care on Saturday, May 12th at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The game will air live on VERSUS across the US at 4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific. Championship Game television plans for viewers in Canada will be announced at a later date.

Despite securing the top overall seed in the playoffs after potsting a regular season record of 14-2, the Knighthawks were unable to host the league's title match due to a scheduling conflict at Blue Cross Arena.

Rochester reached the Championship Game by defeating the Toronto Rock in the Divisional Semifinals, 10-6 on April 20th, and by beating the Buffalo Bandits, 14-13 in overtime, in the Eastern Divisional Final on April 27th.

Arizona reached the Championship Game by defeating the Calgary Roughnecks, 13-9 in the Divisional Semifinals on April 21st, and by beating the San Jose Stealth, 9-7 in the Western Divisional Final on April 28th.
