Toronto – With the announcement of the CFL 2004 schedule, this year promises to be one of the most exciting seasons ever for the Toronto Argonauts Football Club.

The Toronto Argonauts have the honour of opening the CFL season with a home game against Saskatchewan on June 15. The Argonauts are looking to avenge their loss in the 2003 Eastern Final with two home games against defending Eastern champs the Montreal Alouettes, including a Canada Day weekend showdown on Saturday, July 3. Other highlights include a game against Grey Cup winners the Edmonton Eskimos on Sunday, August 8 and a Thanksgiving treat as Toronto welcomes the B.C. Lions on Monday, October 11. The home games will also finish strong with battles against Eastern rivals as the team plays Hamilton on October 21 and Montreal on October 28.

Keith Pelley, President and CEO of the Toronto Argonauts, remarked, "We are extremely excited for the season to start. It is thrilling to have the season opener here in Toronto. We have built an amazing team for 2004 and we can't wait for the kick-off on June 15."
