July 23, 2013 - Arena Football League (AFL) News Release

CHICAGO - CBS Sports Network will air the ArenaBowl XXVI Postgame Show, immediately following ArenaBowl XXVI, which airs on the CBS Television Network, the League office announced today.

The postgame show will feature coach and player interviews live from the on-field championship celebration, as well as analysis and a recap of the 2013 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season from the broadcasters who called the action all season long.

"The Arena Football League has a long history of exciting and memorable ArenaBowl games and we anticipate that ArenaBowl XXVI will be no exception," said Arena Football League Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz. "We are thrilled to be adding a postgame show to our ArenaBowl broadcast. We are very grateful to have a partner like CBS Sports Network that allows us the opportunity to showcase the presentation of the coveted Foster Trophy and to recap another exciting season of Arena Football."

This marks the first Arena Football postgame show to air on CBS Sports Network. CBS Sports Network has been the home of "NET10 Wireless Arena Football Saturday" for the 2013 season.

"This will be unprecedented ArenaBowl coverage," AFL VP of Broadcast, Communications and Branding Anthony Herron said. "We know Arena Football fans don't want the season to end and we're ecstatic that CBS Sports Network agrees with them."

ArenaBowl XXVI presented by IOA will kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 17 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, and will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network. For complete ArenaBowl news and details, please visit www.ArenaBowl.com.
