FORT MYERS, FL (April 9, 2008)-The Fort Myers Miracle return home Friday to rock Hammond Stadium with a six games in seven days. The home stand kicks off with a post-game concert and ends with ladies fighting with pillows.

The ultimate Guns N' Roses tribute band, "Appetite for Destruction" hits the stage after Friday's 6:05 p.m. game against the Dunedin Blue Jays. Please note special start time!

The band looks like Guns N' Roses, they sound like them and from the moment you hear the words, "you know were you are? You're in the Jungle baby..." until long after the concert ends, you feel like you got a glimpse of what it was like when GNR rocked Los Angeles back in 1987. All the favorites-Sweet Child o' Mine, Paradise City, Patience and many, many more will be played. Tickets are only $12 for the game and concert.

Friday also marks the season's first "Happy Hour". Join us from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. for FREE hot dogs, FREE chips & salsa, $1 Budweiser products and $1 Pepsi products, brought to you by Budweiser Select, Shoeless Joe's Sports Café and WXKB B103.9.

Fans are encouraged to bring pennies to the game and support the 3rd Annual Pennies from the Heart Campaign. The campaign is to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities and Ronald McDonald himself will be at the game.

Saturday night the Miracle will dress you in a snazzy Miracle T-Shirt, courtesy of Bob's Top End and WXKB 103.9. The first 500 fans thru the gate for the 7:05 p.m. game against Dunedin will receive a shirt. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Miss A-Miracle is turning four year's old on Sunday and wants you to help her celebrate. Missy will be joined by some of her furry friends for good, playful fun. Kids can also "Sprint the Bases" post-game. The series finale against Dunedin begins at 1:05 p.m.

Sunday's are always designated as a "Family Fun Sunday". Fun, family, affordable entertainment includes a game of catch on the field, post-game sprint the bases and board games on the concourse.

Bring a children's book or canned food item and we will donate all gifts to charities right here in Southwest Florida. Miracle "Kids Club" members gain free admission to Hammond Stadium.

Last year's Florida State League Champions, the Clearwater Threshers, make their first trip to the "Bill" Tuesday-Thursday.

Take advantage of a great double play on Tuesday, April 15. Put down those tax returns and head to the ballpark. "Two-for-One" gives you 2-for-1 small hot dogs, domestic draft beer and sodas at concessions stands. Don't forget to pick up a copy of Tuesday's Naples Daily News, Bonita Daily News and Bonita Banner for a 2-for-1 ticket special. Wednesday, April 16 the Miracle wants to get everyone walking by joining the American Heart Association to "Start Walking". Participants can join in a pre-game walk throughout the Lee County Sports Complex beginning at 6 p.m. The walk is to support all Americans and their employees to live longer, more heart healthy lives through walking and other healthy habits.

The first Wednesday game of the season also marks the return of the ever popular, "Buffet on the Berm". The "All You Can Eat" deal includes a ticket to the game and a whole lot of food at our new right-field party deck. Buffet takes place from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Miracle "Kids Club" member also gain free admission and are honored during the 7:05 p.m. game.

The home stand wraps up on Thursday, April 17 with the Southwest Florida debut of "The Ladies of the Professional Pillow Fight League" at 7:05 p.m.

ESPN Magazine dubbed the show, "A glimpse of the future of sports". The PFL's #1 contender Laina Beaton is scheduled to appear, along with rookies Killer Bea and Messy Jessie.

The PFL follows these simple rules. Pillow fighting is Fun. No biting, scratching, or hair pulling. Malicious intent and blatant disregard of your opponent's safety (or your own) may result in immediate suspension and/or dismissal from the League.

The "PFL Ladies" will perform post-game before a "Thursty Thursday" crowd. Fans can enjoy ½ price beer during the 7:05 p.m. game. The fun-filled night is made possible by Stevie Tomato's Sports Page, Bud Light, 96.1 K-Rock and 99x.

Tickets are available for purchase in person at Hammond Stadium or by phone between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fans may also purchase tickets on-line at www.miraclebaseball.com. The Miracle's on-line ticket system will allow fans to be able to select their exact seat location for each game and print tickets at home.
