TUPELO, MSâTupelo FireAnts Head Coach Bobby Hall will be the featured speaker at the Bruce Rotary Club along with the Amory Rotary Club this week as the FireAnts continue visiting civic groups around the region.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19th, Coach Hall will speak with the Bruce Rotary Club starting at 12 noon at the 1st Baptist Church-Fellowship Hall.
On Thursday, November 20th, Coach Hall will visit with the Amory Rotary Club for their meeting at the Riverbirch Golf Club beginning at 12 noon.
In other news, the FireAnts will hold their next open tryout on Saturday, December 20th at Robbins Field in Tupelo. Registration starts at 8:00am with camp getting underway at 9:00am.
Interested participants must be ages 18 or older, and will need to bring running shoes, cleats, and workout clothing appropriate for the weather. The cost is $50 and includes a Tupelo FireAnts T-Shirt and two tickets to the 2004 home opener at the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo.
