TUPELO, MSâTupelo FireAnts Head Coach Bobby Hall will be the featured speaker this week at the Dorsey Lions Club and the Lafayette-Oxford Civitan Club, as he continues to make his rounds around the Northeast Mississippi community.
Tonight, Coach Hall will visit with the Dorsey Lions Club at their dinner meeting. The Dorsey Lions meet at Comers Restaurant starting at 6:00pm.
On Tuesday, Coach Hall heads over to the Lafayette-Oxford Civitan Club. The Lafayette-Oxford Civitans meet at the Pizza Hut on West Jackson Street. The meeting will get underway at 6:30pm.
In other news, the Tupelo FireAnts are continuing preparations for the upcoming 2004 National Indoor Football League season. The FireAnts next open tryout is scheduled for this Saturday, October 11th at Robbins Field in Tupelo. Registration starts at 8:00am, with camp getting underway at 9:00am.
Interested participants must be ages 18 or older, and will need to bring running shoes, cleats, and workout clothing appropriate for the weather. The cost is $50 and includes a Tupelo FireAnts T-Shirt and two tickets to the 2004 home opener at the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo.
