Antenna TV to Broadcast All-Star Classic

Rockford, Ill. - IceHogs fans will be able to watch St. Pierre and Adam Clendening represent Rockford as they compete at the 2013 Dunkin' Donuts AHL All-Star Classic, as WIFR 23.2 Antenna TV broadcasts both the Pepsi AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Sunday, Jan. 27 and the AHL All-Star Game on Monday, Jan. 28.

Coverage for both the Skills Competition and All-Star Game begin at 6 p.m. from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. Viewers can catch each event by tuning in to either 23.2 Antenna TV, Comcast Cable channel-436, Charter-970, Mediacom-101 or also online through AHLlive.com.

In his 9th professional season, St. Pierre will appear in his fifth AHL All-Star Classic. The IceHogs captain notched his 600th career professional point (170g-430a) on an assist during Monday's tilt against the Texas Stars. The Embrun, Ont. native also represented the IceHogs at the 2008 All-Star Classic in Binghamton, N.Y. where he accumulated three points, including a goal and a pair of assists.

Thus far on the campaign, St. Pierre has paced Rockford skaters with 36 points and 16 goals, and shares a team-high with 20 assists. Clendening, 20, has appeared in 35 contests during his rookie campaign and ranks fourth on the IceHogs with 23 points, including four goals and 19 assists.

The 2013 Dunkin' Donuts AHL All-Star Classic in Providence will feature the top young talent in the American Hockey League competing a two-day event to be televised nationally in the United States and Canada. Visit theahl.com for a list of networks and air times.

Of the 597 players to take part in the AHL All-Star Classic since the event was reinstated in 1995, nearly 93 percent have competed in the National Hockey League, including Patrice Bergeron, Daniel Briere, Dustin Brown, Ryan Callahan, Mike Cammalleri, Zdeno Chara, Miikka Kiprusoff, Ryan Miller, Zach Parise, Tuukka Rask, Pekka Rinne, Bobby Ryan, Martin St. Louis, Cory Schneider, Jason Spezza and Eric Staal.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Feb. 9 vs. Houston Aeros. Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. The first 2,000 fans to the game will pick up a Colin Fraser Bobblehands figurine courtesy of Gatorade, recognizing the first former IceHogs skater to win two Stanley Cups.
