Quincy Gems News Release
Jon Myers was called up and given a contract with Florida Marlins last week. He reported to the Florida Gulf Coast League team in Jupiter, Fla this past Thursday to start playing in Minors. They play their home games at Roger Dean Stadium, the spring training home of the St. Louis Cardinals. Jon was a leader on the Gems during the 2007, 2008, 2009, and the 2010 seasons holding many Gems records.
