Alpena IceDiggers News Release
Alpena MI: The Alpena IceDiggers (30-15-2) hope to get back to their winning ways this week when they play four games in five days. Alpena Hosts Marquette (18-24-4) at 7:00PM on Wednesday at Northern Lights Arena.
The IceDiggers players and coaches know how important it is to get back on track after struggling the past two weeks. "We have hit a mini skid and all of us in this room knows what takes to get us back to where we want to be as a team." said head coach Kenny Miller "The playoff's are right around the corner and we need to be in full stride leading up to that point in the season."
Alpena will board the bus on Thursday night and travel to Mahoning Valley (36-10-1) for games on Friday and Saturday night. Both contests in Ohio start at 7:00PM and can be viewed on the Internet at www.mvpphantoms.com. Ron Rinaldi will call all the action.
On Sunday Alpena will head north of Ohio to Ann Arbor to take on the USA U-17 team (15-23-4). Face off is at 7:00PM.
