Maine Nordiques News Release

The Maine Nordiques are honored to announce that we have committed Left shot Defenseman, Andrew Noel for the 2020-2021 season.

Noel, 19, completed an extremely successful prep hockey career with his past three seasons for Prep Powerhouse Kimball Union Academy under the helm of Head Coach Tim Whitehead and his staff. Coach Whitehead is no stranger to the MaineLand as he led the bench as Head Coach of the University of Maine Black Bears for over a decade; as well as the University of Massachusetts-Lowell Riverhawks. During Noel's time as a KUA Wildcat, he was a key component as a leader and warrior on the backend for a group that earned multiple NEPSAC titles during his reign on defense.

"Noel's character and ability have the entire staff looking forward to getting started with his Nordiques career." Said Coach Pinchevsky about the strong addition to the backend and team culture. The Maynard, Massachusetts native comes in with high NCAA regard as one Division 1 coach being quoted by saying "he is the type of player you win with." We are all very excited about the positive impact that Andrew will have in the Nordiques Nation on and off the ice.

The Maine Nordiques are proud to welcome Noel to the organization and the #MaineLand.
