
Amerks, Entercom Rochester Announce Multi-Year Radio Partnership

Rochester, NY-The Rochester Americans, in conjunction with Entercom Rochester, announced today a new multi-year partnership, making ESPN Rochester the exclusive flagship radio station for all 76 regular-season Amerks games.
"The Rochester Americans are a wonderful community asset of which we can all be proud," said Entercom Vice President and Market Manager Susan Munn. "Entercom's 95.7 FM/950 AM ESPN Radio is excited to broadcast the games to long-time supporters and introduce them to brand new hockey fans in the region. We're thrilled to wave the Amerks Red, White, and Blue in Rochester!"

"The Entercom group has been long-time supporters of hockey in Rochester and we are looking forward to expanding that relationship to better serve our passionate fans within this community."
Beginning this season, all 76 regular-season Amerks games will be simulcast on the Sports Leader 95.7 FM/950 AM radio dials. Hall of Fame play-by-play broadcaster Don Stevens will be behind the microphone for his 31st season as the Voice of the Amerks while former Sabre Ric Seiling will return as color analyst. Reporter Tim Schneider will contribute to the broadcasts with pregame and postgame coverage, in addition to providing analysis during intermissions. Fans will have the chance to offer their perspective on games by calling into the postgame show. Amerks players, coaches and management personnel will continue to make interview appearances on Entercom programming throughout the season. In addition, Buffalo Sabres hockey will now be heard exclusively on sister station, 96.5 WCMF.
ESPN Rochester is the only sports station in the market broadcasting on FM, airing local and national sports talk 24/7 and featuring the #1 sports morning show in the country with ESPN's Mike & Mike in the Morning; John Murphy, the voice of the Buffalo Bills, 12 pm to 3 pm; The Sports Bar with Mike Danger & Gene Battaglia, 3 pm to 6 pm; and The Dan Le Batard Show. It is also home to the biggest sporting events, as well as local, regional and national play-by-play, including the Buffalo Bills, Notre Dame Football and St. John Fisher College sports.
